Reflections on 2019
As a photographer of musicians moving from the Cowichan Valley to Victoria in June of 2019, I was warmly greeted by several companies that host music. They include Beaconridge Productions, The Victoria Jazz Society, and The Victoria Blues Society. I have been privileged to be their photographer for many of their events and have posted galleries on my website at https://www.dodgeandburn.ca/2019/ The last event created by The Victoria Blues Society brought Rick Estrin and the Nightcats to us. This was a stellar band whose music and showmanship elevated the crowd and provided ongoing enjoyment to Blues fans.
